Tanning Products
Distilled Water, (DHA) Dihydroxyacetone ORGANIC, naturally derived from sugar beets and sugar cane (sourced naturally) Witch Hazel Distillate, Aloe vera gel, Erythrulose (red berries) found in ripe, red raspberries & also in other red berries. Sorbitol (corn syrup) Organic Glycerine (non allergen Plant base). Caramel colour or caramel colouring is a water soluble food colouring, Vanilla essence all natural and safe. citric seed (a preservative) Ethanol small quantities to keep it from going off, Honey fragrance( not honey). Coconut caprice vegetable stearate(a saturated fat called stearic acid and the mineral magnesium which come from the coconut). DHA (the stuff that makes you go brown) reacts chemically with the amino acids in the skin, which are part of the protein containing keratin layer on the skin surface. These are similar in coloration to melanin, the natural substance in the deeper skin layers which brown or “tan”, from exposure to UV rays but DHA is only reacting to the outer dead layers of the skin which is safe and natural. DHA tanning does not stop the harmful rays from the sun. DHA is not organic but is derived from natural sources.
